We, Troop 636, are the local troop of Southwest Ranches, Florida. We draw scouts from the cities of Pembroke Pines, Cooper City, Davie, Southwest Ranches, and Hollywood. Our troop is boy-led but our goal is to have a boy-run troop. This means that the boys elect each other into positions, plan the activities, cook, clean, and do, well, just about everything.
Our troop is active during the Broward County school year. We go on monthly camp outs to various locations, all of them picked by the boys. There are usually eight or more camp outs a year.
